On June 9, 2022, the City of Philadelphia passed Bill NO 220337 amending Title 9 of Philadelphia Code, which requires employers to provide a qualified transit benefit.

Which employers does this apply to?

This bill applies to employers who are individuals, co-partnerships, associations, corporations, or any other entity who employs 50+ employees.

Which employees are eligible for the benefit?

"Covered employees" refer to those who perform an average of at least thirty hours of work per week, for compensation, within the geographic boundaries of Philadelphia for the same employer within the previous twelve months.
